just listened on the local news this evening about crooks using mobile phones to find whether theres any electrical equipment i:e sat nav or laptops hidden inside cars apparently they use the blue tooth function on there mobiles to scan the area,once found they smash there way in and scarper,so if you do have to leave anything like this inside your car plz make sure it is turned off,AND also remove the screen holders etc and clean the glass where the suction cup is so no tell tale signs are present

Good point. That's why I have gone for tinted windows and turn everything off. In car DVD is great for the kids but is just saying "steal me!" to the crims. I could hide it all away each time but why should I?

 

The window tints take your eye of what's inside and, dark windows look kind of cool.

oh I meant that 1 of the good ideas was using my bluetooth on the phone to refine the ol' smash and grab technique B)
